Hello, I’m Minori from Washoku Club, a fan club of Japanese cooking.
Today, I’d like to introduce Roll meat with vegetables!
The recipe is simple but fun to cook and really tasty💕
-Ingredients (for 2 people)-
200 g of thinly sliced pork or beef (maybe you can use bacon too)
20 g of flour
A little oil
-The golden ratio of seasoning for japanese food!-
⭐️Just mix these 4 ingredients in 2:2:2:1 for a quick and easy seasoning!
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp mirin(sweet sake)*
1 tbsp cooking sake
½ tbsp sugar or honey
*If you don’t have sweet sake, you can use cooking sake : sugar = 3:1
-Vegetables-
Any kind of vegetable that you want to put in!
This time I used carrot and courgette, but I also recommend green beans and green pepper too!
-Steps-
1 Chop the vegetable long and thin
2 Roll the cut vegetables with the meat
3 Coat the surface of the meat with flour.
4 Put oil into the pan and grill the meat (Put a lid and cook thoroughly for a few minutes)
5 Mix all ingredients of seasoning, and put them into the pan. Turn of the heat and when the sauce become thicker (1-2 minutes)
This is a typical japanese home made cuisine!
